We’re unofficially taking over the street team. We’re here to give you the tools you need to promote Black Cards on the internet and on the streets. Right now we’re working on  forum signatures, things you can reblog and fliers that you can print out yourself. If we can get enough interest, we’ll fund stickers for you guys to stick places around town that you think would be good spots to promote the band. Venues, record stores, your little brother. Wherever.

We don’t want to be the only ones coming up with stuff. We’ve seen good ideas around tumblr. We know you guys have great ideas. We want to be a place for everyone to share ideas. If you have an idea, send it our way (blackcardsenzymes@gmail.com or hit the ask link on the side) and we’ll post it or reblog it. You can hit us up on twitter (@blckcrdsenzymes) too.

If you want to help, but don’t have any ideas, don’t worry. You can still help by spreading the word about Black Cards and about this project. The more people involved the better.

Stay tuned. We’ll have some stuff up this weekend.

  • Reblog, reblog, reblog! This needs to spread. If you reblog anything promoting the tour, don’t forget to send the official street team a screen cap to let them know you’re promoting it so you get credit for it. Remember, we’re here to help you help the band. 

  • Our main focus right now is the tour and if we can, we’re going to try and keep our focus on whatever the current street team mission is in order to help you guys out as best we can. That doesn’t mean there won’t be other things we’ll be working on and that we don’t want suggestions that aren’t centered around the current mission. We want any suggestions you have.

  • We’re going to use the twitter account(@blckcrdsenzymes) to bug @foeradio to play Black Cards. All it takes to request a song is a tweet. We’ll remind you. Once they have a radio single out we’ll get a radio station list up and we’ll start bothering everyone.

  • We’ll be including links to the full sized versions of the posters on our server. These are made to be printed out at 11x17. Anything we post here can be hotlinked (you don’t have to upload images to your own servers or places like tinypic). In fact, we encourage hotlinking. Whatever you have to do to spread the word. Printable versions of the tour posters are available here.

BLACK CARDS FAN PROJECT
“The thing is simple: you go out on the streets with your iPod or whatever, and you make random peeps listen to Dominoes while recording their reactions. When I gather each one of your vids, I’ll edit them and make just one big vid from fans all over the world and send them to the members of the band.

So call your friends and have fun on the streets while promoting BLACK CARDS :D.
